Right towards the mine

Walking through the mine, you eventually find a seemingly alien construct. Sneaking through it, you find a space with a floating star map surrounded by 5 pedestals. Two of the pedestals are lit up - on the leftmost side, a pink light, on the rightmost, a yellow. Which way do you turn?
